1. I listed both of them because they are the finest examples of porsche engines.
2. List me some other motors that come as close as a saab motor does, turbo or not. I'd say that when your comparing a company that does racing still to one that doesn't and then compare it the race spec built car to a regular car then I'd say a 13hp difference is miniscule.
3. Again, I asked if you knew of the aftermarket parts that can be used on the GT3 or GT2 to go ahead and list them and what there effect would be; I'm just not familiar enough with those cars. Obviously a base 911 will have lots of aftermarket to get it to GT3 or GT2 specs. Also, if Saab did as many trim levels for the 9-3 and 9-5 as Porsche does for the 911 then we would see straight from the factory 500 hp Saabs I bet. Our Saab aftermarket tuning is the equivalent of Porsche in house tuning to achieve the numbers they get from the factory on the GT3 or GT2. If I remember correctly any Porsche GT3 is the exact same as any GT3 you see on the race course with the exception of the extra street stuff being removed to lighten it up a little more.
