This is the most absurd thing I have seen, and why I resent people who don't respect what we do. (Those of us who make our living repairing Saabs!) Get out of your computer chair and share a little bit of our world! The car probably needs a DI cassette! Duh!

I installed a JSP stage 2 ecu in my NG 900. It was awesome. I was extremely happy with his work. Two months later my turbo exploded. First thought might be the tune, but think for a minute. After I put a TD04 on my car it had a rod knock, and I was worried, so I pulled the pan. The bearings were completely fragged. It'd be easy to blame JAK, but maybe the fact that I bought the car for $500 with a cracked oil pan was a clue. Maybe the fact that the oil light did not come on without the engine running should have been noticed earlier in the game, but after you fix Saabs for twelve hours every day you don't pay attention to your own car. After I replaced the oil pressure sender the light was flickering at idle. Wonder if the previous owner damaged the oil pump/timing cover? So now my engine is out, spun a main bearing. This must be a result of the tune right?

For someone to slander a professional who has better understanding of the car than they do is insane. Your theory of too much boost causing misfire is true in a very extreme situation, but I have had mine boost to 30 psi with a Garrett and it did not miss. The internet is a great thing, but also leads to lots of misinformation and garbage. For you to do something to tarnish someone's reputation over something you have not seen yourself is WRONG!

Poor JEB, probably didn't think his missfire would cause a rant. Hook up a scanner and see what it's doing. The tune is most likely not your issue, as it ran fine for a while with all the same stuff on it, right? Best of luck, hopefully I can get someone to slam me on this site someday!
