What is killing Saab? Service and service pricing. The image is that these machines are too expensive to keep on the road. A friend of mine was looking for a good sports sedan, did she even look at a 9-5 or 9-3, no just went with an Acura TSX. My boss was charged $1,100 for a brake job, nothing special but rotors and pads. Is she looking for another Saab, no, she is going with Toyota. Those of us with a little mechanical knowhow or "friends in the business" can get around the problems, but the average joe will just move on to something Japanese.
