This is classic GM advertising mentality in action. They only advertise new models. They don't advertise existing models. I've plenty of 9-2x ads, but no 9-5 ads, and only 1 or 2 9-3 ads.
Some car companies try to sell the entire lineup. Audi has some great tv ads that don't focus on any one car. Saab could do the same to explain to the public what these cars are all about.
So while you and look at an Aero and see a one of the safest cars on the road with stunning acceleration, great gas mileage, that can go over 500 miles on one tank of gas; your neighbor looks at it and says, "what's that?"
We can complain that the problem is service cost and reliability, but that can't be the problem. Other Euro brands have been overcoming those same issues for years.
