I do like the new M3 and the new M5
but once I start scratching all the hype
there are some things that anoy me.

1. Why is it that all new M3s have gearbox problems
to a point where BMW tells its owner not to abuse the
std. Manual Box. ?

2. Why is it that the new 3 series is less crash worthy
then a VW Golf. ?

3. Why does BMW use AWD systems with 3 open diffs.
and traction control when they know that the dynamics
of such a system are inferior to other systems. ?

4. After BMW won so many races in F1 with their Turbo
engine why did they simply drop Turbos and go back
to big CID engines. ?

5. Why are both the M3 and M5 unable to follow
much cheaper AWD cars on twisted roads ? Cause
AWD was too expensive to fit in ?

6. Why are there so many electronic problems. ?

When I look at all that hype after a while the only
real plus I see is the good resale value and the
fair handling on dry streets. I say FAIR cause they
are lighyears behind what AWD cars can do.

BMW = Nice cars = You pay for the NAME

I honestly don't mind if anyone feels his BMW
is better then my SAAB... as to M3s and M5s
trying to pass my Integrale, they keep trying
and failing on twisted bumpy roads where they
get into LOL TRACTION PROBLEMS :)

Regards,
Coolknight
