There weren't any cars or CFC or huge SUV around to cause that way back when and that was a huge fluctuation in temperature. Could it be that the rise in temperature of 1 degree in 1 century is due to normal earth temperature fluctuations. How do you know the earth's temperature rose 1 degree in 1 century? Are you basing that on 1 or 2 hundered years of records. In statistics that would be considered a relatively small and inaccurate sample of data. I'm not saying that global warming is not occuring, but there are people that are convinced that it is and I don't see how there is enough concrete evidence to say that it is. Now don't read this as an oil stockholder wanting to keep making money...because I'm not, I'm all for efficient vehicles. I just wonder how it is that so many people became experts on the earth's climate and decided that a 1 degree rise in 1 century is "global warming".
