If the rings are hanging up the AutoRX may remove the gunk and free the rings to do their job again. If they are really worn than nothing will solve the problem. Either gas is washing the cylinder walls or dust coming into the combustion chamber. If they are worn, then they are worn. Heavier oil may help, but make sure you follow the recommend specs or your down hill run will be faster.
