Who designed you? Are you immortal?
What the heck does design or even bad design have to do with how to remove sludge cheaply and safely in an existing 9-5 (if there is any)? What the heck does a 1993 900 with 2000miles have to do with anything? My 2001 9-5 has close to 100,000 miles, and it is still running fine. If you like your C900 so much, stay in that board. Leave the rest of us alone. I'm not the least bit interested in hearing about grossly exaggerated claims about engine exploding. 9-5 engines are not exploding, nor are Toyota and VW/Audi engines that have similar oil sludge problems. The vast majority of those potentially afflicted cars are still running fine on the road today. Pointless whinings about what engineers should have done is no substitute for finding a viable solution for extending the service lives of those millions of existing cars to a point where they would have been off the road anyway for various other reasons.
