We keep our customers vehicles at or above operational standards set by our state government. That is not fleecing pockets. We also don't hack work together, we do it correctly to OEM standards. If there is a hole in the exhaust, you're getting the pipe replaced. Cheap and good don't often overlap over an extended period of time in this industry.

If you have tint on the front windows of your sedan, we're going to fail you. We are legally required to by the state.

Metal from the pad is not permitted to touch the rotor. If your wear indicator is touching we will fail you. If it will be touching before your next oil change based on what kind of driving you do, we will highly suggest replacement.

If you fail, you can bring the car back within 5 days and get it re-inspected for free. You have the right to go wherever you want for a second opinion or have the work done elsewhere. The shop doesn't corner you.

Lets say I pass you with a torn tie rod boot in September, and over the winter dirt/grit/salt gets in there and wallows out the ball socket in the tie rod end. Lets say this fails and causes you to crash and fate forbid get injured or worse. But if you did, lets say the insurance company investigates and finds the end was at fault and the boot appears to have been for quite awhile, but you were just passed through inspection at my shop a few months ago. I've never had to figure out where it goes from there and don't plan to.

We're not the bad guys. We are not out to get you. We make money, but we're not going to be retiring on it anytime soon.

There was a day these were $42,000 cars. The maintenance will always reflect that. Sorry you have dealt with bad shops.
