Hi,

I'm a bit at a loss here. 2005 9-5 2.3t, 200k miles, ran fine, parked, no start. Healthy cranking though.

Symptoms:
- When I tried starting she coughed - once;
- Used my Tech 2 to read codes but none came up;
- Changed the CPS for a supposedly good one, but the one that came out measured 920 ohm as per the manual;
- Changed the DI cassette for a known good one;
- Changed that DI cassette for another known good one;
- When the key goes in the on position, the fuel pump (under the rear seat) whirrs then stops. When the key moves to start, the pump whirrs again;
- Out of the oil filler neck comes a distinct gasoline smell;
- When we retried starting the next day, she again coughed once.

I'm off to see if there's any gas in the car - but I've filled her up 80 miles ago.

What am I looking at? The coolant temp sensor? Is there a way to check that? Should I check the fuel pressure? I'm not sure I have a gauge for that.
