Yeah, ditto. I was thinking I would need to replace a starter for a slow crank, and swapping a fresh battery seems to have improved things at least for now. Sometimes there can be more than one issue so I will see but you are right that checking voltages and battery condition can make a big difference. Sometimes the effects of a weak battery extend past just the battery.
