Okay,
I posted about this a few months back....I was all geared up for the task. Spg kit off, bumper and grill off, interior panels out...but now, I just have lost the loving feeling.
I am thinking of selling the whole lot, but now the 'tally' is all taken apart. Clearly worth more in pieces than together. But some thoughts or advice from the team would be welcome. Here are the options as I see them.
1) Put Tally back together and sell. Then sell all new parts through classified.
2) Part out Tally now that the work is half done. Sell Panels, interior, wheels, whale tail, louvers, gauges etc...probably make more money this way, but NO time for the hassle.
3) Try to send all the OEM parts back to the dealer... over $2500 in new parts including New Dash, seals etc....
4) Try to sell project in the state it is in? My favorite choice, but will bring the least money I fear. The lot includes a fresh rebuilt trans (o) miles, a 89K Short block, a donor rolling chasis with good rust free donor panels, plus all the parts mentioned above.
5) Just keep going and get Tally repaired and repainted?
I know I am going to loose my shirt, but I am thinking it is time to get out. Advice is really needed. I have been here on and off for well over a decade..just time to move on.
Thanks in advance.
Stephen
