Yep, you can always remove the AMM entirely and see what happens. However, IME, the results from that test are always inconclusive since the car may still not run (have had that happen) and with the AMM removed you haven't eliminated wiring or the ECU as the problem. Certainly a good troubleshooting step, but inconclusive. Glad you're getting somewhere - hopefully you've got a good spare AMM or a good junkyard nearby! Remember that AMMs are unique to the ECU - so you need an AMM from a 900T with LH 2.4.
