I think on the same episode, they have a warm up regulator ( WUR ) "update" where they make it adjustable.
However, they did not show the "system" being tested for flow rates / etc and the combination of the FD and the WUR together on a test stand. That is the key to getting the module to work properly is to have it flow bench tested properly. Without the calibration, you never really know if it is proper or not. And, as I mentioned, CISFLOWTECH may be the only outfit in the USA that actually has a proper flow bench.
The episode is interesting to see what they do to revive the FD, however, that was somewhat of a working / driving car, and 2ndowner is waking the beast after untold years of hibernation.
