Thanks Goblin,
Yep got the bougis in there. Rotor and cap are bosch, less than 1k miles on them both. Resistances all look good. New coil, its windings all check out hot and cold.
Tested fuel pressure yesterday, 40 psi engine off, 32 at idle, holds for the Bentley requirement of 10 mins after shutdown of the pump. (Is 32psi at idle a little high?).
Plugs are less than 1k old also, gapped at .25. Timing is at 17 degrees, adjusted to 9 under boost. It seems to hold onto the 10 psi longer with that setup. (I get higher around town temps if I run more than 17 degrees, along with a more of a miss at idle).
I'm interested in those plugs. I think you mentioned them to me before. The ngk 4091's, are there different types? I found some that had an 'R' in a number after the 4091, (it might have meant 'racing'?). Are they just listed as ngk 4091's? I think you mentioned that you put them in right from the box.
