If you look closely on the bottom of that valve cover it has little raised tabs that push down on the oiler tubes and keep them installed correctly I don't think the later models have those. I could be wrong though. I would see if you could figure out a way to cut down one of the bigger ones and fit it in there really sharp razor knife big pair of metal shears maybe. I still love all my 900s and my 9000s but we're having to find clever ways of keeping them on the road. I just had to do this today to the rear brake lines in my 9000 putting new brake lines on and the rear connection point was rusted, so I had to reflare the original brake line and reconnect the new brake line. Good luck let me know what you figure out.
