Hello,
I would check and double check for vacuum leaks. One thing todo to see if this is the most likely fault is to start the car and when it is hunting take needle nose pliers or something like that and pinch off one of the hoses going to the aic. If the car does not stall you have an air leak of some sort. Sometimes it can just be the closed position of the throttle plate is open too much. But I would not mess with that until you are sure there are no other air leaks. To set the throttle plate loosen the 2 screws for the TPS and back the thottle stop off. Work the throttle by hand towards the closed position. Maybe clean up any carbon on the plate and in the throttle body while you are there. When it is fully closed adjust the throttle stop. Make it just barely touch then go another 1/2 turn. Then adjust the TPS. Good Luck, Bernie
