Hello,
I do not have the old LH diagnostic book with me. Were it had the ways to test the AIC at the ecm. We used to give the AIC a good whack with a wrench to get a momentary stabilization of the idle with a bad AIC. If I remember correctly an ECM failure leads to a constant idle of around 1700.
