Since we're geographically separated Bernie, how about emailing the stuff to me? No?
Seriously though, your message did trigger a thought. Since it seems the TPS is the only sensor that tells the ECM that the car is idling, and I have verified with the ECM self-test that the AIC is operational, replaced the ECM, and jumpering the TPS connector pins 1 & 2 has no effect, the only thing left that could be preventing the AIC from operating is the wiring between the TPS and ECM.

I'll next pull the boot off the TPS connector and check the connections, and if they look good, I'll jumper the relevant pins directly at the ECM connector.
