Hi Eric - that's good to know. I figure they produced more heat, not less. I called SuperBrightLED's. They were very helpful, but they too never heard of this problem. They suggested that a gas that was in the headlight interacted with the bulb. Doesn't sound likely, since the bulb produces less heat, not more.
