Greetings. So… picked the car up from the mechanic. He installed a switch in the car for the fuel pump as the relay wasn’t working and he wanted to get it on the road. Worked great this morning when I picked it up. Driving down the highway feeling good. Then I stopped to buy some stuff and when I started the car again my fuel gauge and temp gauge weren’t working. Kept driving and then stopped 30 minutes later. Went back to start the car and it wouldn’t fire. The toggle switch for the fuel pump wouldn’t illuminate, and I couldn’t see any power at the fuel pump fuse under the hood. The crank position sensor was replaced last week so can’t imagine that’s the issue. Any ideas? Assuming it’s a ground or wiring issue that caused the fuel and temp gauges to go and then eventually the non-starting but where would be the best place to start testing and looking? Thanks guys! Excited about this car as much as it doesn’t seem to be too excited about me yet.
