Over boosting Posted by Goblin [Email] |
Have a 1998 Saab 9000. It had the T5 valve on it so I just assumed it was bad and the mosfets were probably bad in the ECU so I swapped it over to a known good one that Jordan had done for me and put a t7 valve in with the new ECU and I'm still getting the same symptoms.. I've swapped out map sensors did nothing have taken all of the piping off and all the hoses double checked that the wastegate is working and not stuck it is not. The wastegate is set at 5 lb. So I should only be getting between 12 and 15 lb of boost on Full Throttle and it is hitting what I would call the fuel cut off. I read somewhere on here that sometimes it could be the direct ignition cassette so I swapped it out with a brand new sem brand one and it is still doing the same thing. I have read tons of posts on here and I have read where people have ran into this same thing but I have not found what their solution was anybody have any ideas
