I have read through this thread and have had problems hitting the fuel cut-out due to overboost when I first install a different ECU or have had the battery disconnected for an extended time. This has happened to me several times but it was most noticeable after I installed my EEuroparts stage 1 ECU with the T7 BPC driver conversion. I had to do several "adaption runs" with the car to get the ECU to tune itself (learn) for the boost control loop. My 97 Aero is currently hitting fuel cut-out if I really get on it. I need to take it out on a country road and see if I can get a few runs done. I'm no expert on the T5 ECU, or the hardware inside the box. I'm just wondering if your problem might be related to that. Sorry if you've already covered this.
