I went to Jiffy lube a few times and the 2nd time they said the oil pan plug was stripped. I had just put on a new oil pan as I cracked it on a brooklyn pothole (and that was through a 6pt subframe brace..which was destroyed in the process). anyway next oil change they couldn't get it to stop leaking. They realized they put in the last drain plug and they ended up using epoxy to seal it. My next oil change was at saab. They said my pan was cracked. I went into Jiffy lube and the manager didn't even blink. Called the regional manager and said have it repaired and bring the receipt. My indie mechanic Roland (swedish saab) put in a good used one, brought the receipt and a week later (yesterday) I had a check. The manager said they have cracked oil pans all the time and bought some torque wrenches to help solve future problems. Jiffy Lube Coney Island Avenue Brooklyn NY...Ian's the Manager ...Kudos for owning up and not giving a run-around
