We all feel your pain, Nicholas. That's why most of use here and-non-mechanical people post here. We don't rip-off, but try to help one another. I also going through a deal where in the first week of November, my shop was supose to be completed. It's know going into four months and these builders have totally been given the chance to redeem themselve by me allowing them to patch-up there screwed-up builder quality. They have over 20k and expect me to give them the finale $2,800. They couldn't even patch the job correctly. The owner first tried to threaten to take me to court when the roof still leaks and all the trusses are off and leaning over 1-1/2" to 2" on one side for forty feet, about twenty trusses. The deal was, He was going to get the job done in time to move from my old place, with all my tools, and sell the other place, (A mobile home on leased land)And have evrything on property that I now live and own. I lost the sale on my other place due to being unable to move, because of the leaking upper storage area. Now I had to sign a new lease at $4,800 for the leased lot. With the realestate market being at an all time low, this guys dreaming of thating me to court???? What a dreamer. And the job still leakes and he bent the roof trim metal when trying to repair the job. Like I said before, We will all get through this, it will just test our patients and wallets. Be good to yourself and family. Life sucks, but only sometimes. Peace!!!!!!
