some of us are honest to a tee (no, I don't sell cars). Unfortunately it's the 75% that are total sleaze bags that give the rest of us a bad rap. I work for a manufacturer of ambulances and rescue trucks and I am a direct factory sales person. The difference is that we're not some sleazy dealer selling cookie cutter products - we are the manufacturer and we make custom products (no two are the same). Without a doubt the most annoying and stressful part of my job is having to compete with the sleaze bags that sell our competitors products. They lie, cheat, steal and break the law in any way they can in order to make a quick sale. I'd rather have a customer's business long term, not screw someone over today to make a quick buck. I've know many good, professional, honest sales people but unfortuantely those types rarely make the news....
