Hello, everyone. Well, my fiancee' and I set our wedding date for July 30, 2005. The wedding/reception will be held at Woodmont Hills Church of Christ here in Nashville. Now that everything is less than 1 year away, it's time for us to start looking at a few more details. This past weekend, my fiancee's grandparents told us that they would provide us with 1 free week at a condominium by means of a time-share program that they are part of. That's where things get interesting.
For a complete list of condominiums that we may choose from, please visit the link below. My fiancee' and I would love to go to Sweden, but plane tickets are a bit more than we would like to pay. I suppose this is a good time to elaborate on "us". We are both fairly simplistic. We love nature, the woods, hiking, long walks, the mountains, rain, the arts, some parts of city life, so on and so forth. We each love Colorado and San Antonio, but are currently exploring our other options. We aren't completely opposed to leaving the country, but neither of us have ever done so, which means that we are both a bit apprehensive when it comes to the hassle of currency exchange, foreign laws, passports, etc.
We can both tolerate the beach, but by no means would that be the ideal honeymoon destination. Neither of us drink at all, so that may help in narrowing things down a bit, as well. We don't mind spending a little more on our honeymoon, but then again, we don't have tons of money to burn. We are just wanting a nice relaxing week of time together in a welcoming atmosphere...and we can go do something if we have the urge.
For reference, between the 2 of us, we have been to Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. We aren't at all opposed to going to these places on our honeymoon. We are wanting somewhere that either isn't difficult to navigate or we are somewhat familiar with. Also, somewhere that everything is centrally located (such as San Antonio) would be ideal so all of our travelling can be done on foot. We want our honeymoon to be a time that we are together and have no cares...not a time that we spend at the convenience store asking for directions. :-)
Any and all suggestions are more than welcome. Again, we're not ruling out anything at this point...so long as it is somewhere within our budget and fits most of our criteria. If you may have any questions that would help narrow down the search, please feel free to ask. Also, don't hesitate to look at the available sites at the link below. Thank you so much for your thoughts, comments, suggestions, concerns, input, and feedback. Drive safely, and KEEP ON SAABING!!!
