I forgot. We were both very sick the first 2 days of our honeymoon. It is because we left for Hawaii the morning after the wedding. All the stress caught up with us and we really should have had a wind down period, even just couple of days. So wherever you go, it may be better to wait a few days after the wedding to leave. Unpack the gifts. Wind down a little. Set up the house... We came back to unpack our bags AND gifts, which was like double the effort. If we had to do it again, we wouldn't leave right away. Just my additional 2 cents.
