Well, I'm not going to tell you where to go on your honeymoon, but I'll tell you what my wife and I did. Starting at the beginning of May, we spent 2 weeks driving from Grand Junction, CO through Utah, finishing in Las Vegas, NV. Along the way, we MTBed and hiked in Fruita, Moab, Torrey, Bryce, and Zion. Logistically, the trip was not too bad, since we had rented a big SUV and stayed at B&B's along the way. We spurged in Vegas, staying at the Belagio.
Details here (no pix though):

Don't be afraid to pass up a canned-vacation and make the arrangements yourself, do what you want, when you want.
Have fun - JMJ
