Do those books talk about the affects of CoQ10 which gets lowered by the statin drugs? Thats a universal risk factor for all who take those drugs that do not suplement with CoQ10. And the doctors, well, all but a very few, do not know or do not inform the patient. And the package insert does not either. So the drug companies are keeping the information below the radar like a dirty little secret.

Push those statin pills and those scripts, but do not tell the patient that something else is needed for an optimal outcome. Time will tell. Maybe this will go down as nicely as female HRT with estrogen from pregnant mares urine. (HRT with natural hormones does not have such problems.)
The great thing about folks reading on the internet, or a nice medical book, it that they are paying attention to things instead of been sheep. And healthy debate is a wonderful thing.
