brother bought a new one recently, and they have a friend who has an early one closing on 200K w/o any problems. Dealer is saying they haven't had any back yet (which I'm a bit of a skeptic on - it's like the saab dealer giving you a blank look on the idler pulleys or early 5 spd synchro's)
It's a cool car, although a bit on the video game thing. They get amazing gas mileage some of the time, and less so if the engine's having to run more around town. I haven't driven it on a real road test, so I'd reserve opinions, first take I'd take the Saab on a road trip. Hatch is a HUGE plus; wish the 9-5 had one.
On the other hand, the Accord hybrid seems to be more of what I'd like to see, with performance increasing. Haven't had the Oddyssey out yet.
But time will tell on the batteries... I'm still a skeptic, but who knows.
