Say as little as possible. When you as the "reference" only has to say of her that she worked from X to Y and nothing along the lines of "she was a great person/worker, always going above and beyond..". The potential employer will know what's up given your lack of enthusiasm. Of course the evil side in all of us would want to tell it like it is. BTW I have been a manager for over 5 years now and in some past events wanted so badly to be...well bad(truthful). Also the fact that she put you as a reference shows she doesn't know what you know about those emails.
