As counterpoint to the last two posters, "speeding" and being responsible have no relationship to each other whatsoever. The speed laws are there to generate money. PERIOD. They have nothing to do with safety, any traffic engineer can tell you that. It is not irresponsible to safely drive at a rate of speed based on the road, conditions, and other traffic rather than the artificially low number painted on the sign. It's your right and duty to try to avoid paying this random tax.
