...And I never once met anyone in Canada who didn't speed routinely. 140 in the 100 - 110 kph zone between Saskatoon SK and Banff/Calgary/Edmonton AB was normal. 70 in the 50 kph zones in town was routine. Hell, there are even for corner intersections without lights and without stop signs in town, as Saskatoon used to be a rural area that then became a University town.
As far as cutting a break....bullcrap. The trooper did what he did as he cannot testify to an 80 plus MPH in a turn uphill in traffic.
Like I said, cut Chad a break. If it had been any one of us, we'd have been upset too, and rightfully so. Chad came here for support. Can't we show him some.
