Get a 1 year old Saab, keep it through the warranty, and start over. The initial depreciation is the greatest you will see in the life of the car. So you let someone else take that hit, then you are still able to reap the benefits of a "new" car and its warranty.
Or, take advantage of the absolutely fantastic year end incentives and buy a brand new, old model saab. I would never buy a new car without some pretty deep discounts for the simple reason that you are in the red as soon as you drive off the lot.
