I live on a corner. People do this at my corner stop sign all the time.

You said it was dark. How do you know my 6 year old child or some other child was not accidentally somehow walking there? The answer is, when you hit him you'll know.

If you were in my town, I'd arrest you myself. STOP means STOP.

Don't rag on the police for doing their job. And yes, they do run the license plate number and your driver's license looking for outstanding warrants, etc. Why wouldn't they? Should we just let criminals do what they want?
