No offense, but I've been cut off way too many times by lame drivers who think it's OK to just pause at an intersection then shoot out into the roadway. It's takes all of another second or two to come to a legal stop, then proceed safely into or across the other roadway.
A warning is probably the appropriate action (pending review of your record), but personally, I wish cops would pull over more people with the "pause" habit.
