in unsafe conditions. Construction (especially high-rise and large commercial construction), utilities, law enforcement, even sport teams place their employees in some sort of risk. What about companies that require shift work, something that is proven to be poor for an employees health. Are these situations much different?
People handle stress differently, and some manage it better than others. I suspect if you were to poll people, most would say they are under stress at work. I'm sure that even this Toyota employee's co-workers would each describe a different level of stress they have from their job. They probably have similar deadlines, but depending on their personality and their ability to diffuse stress, they likely have a different perspective regarding the severity of the stress they feel.
