Yup, I work shift work. Twelve-hour rotating schedule, 5:30 to 5:30, switching from days to nights, no breaks or lunch hour, and 8 hours of overtime just about every other week. Shift work is not healthy but it's necessary for some businesses so do we boycott those companies as well?
I'm certainly not complaining about my schedule because it definitely has it's advantages, but like you Doug, I'm always tired.
I'm not sure how you manage an employees stress and make sure each one is happy and healthy. If you start to boycott companies that have to adapt a workers schedule or have them work overtime, I think you'd have very few products to buy and places to shop.
