Pick your favorite BMW, Saab, Mercedes classic. Let's say a BMW E30 or a OG Saab 900.
In the E30's case, lets have BMW make the body in the same style as the classic with modern rust proofing and sound proofing. Put in one of the new engines and tranny's without all of the frills. No DSC, no nothing except ABS.
Update the interior with a decent sound system but with an eye on weight. Put in a bluetooth option, iPod/XM jacks, but keep everything low key.
The point is to take a classic, make it a driver's car for enthusiasts.
Would love to have an E28 M5 body with the new V-10 M5 engine.
The potential for profit is huge!
