If people don't buy the new product in significant numbers then ultimately in the long run the company will be back in trouble. I honestly usually purchase my Saab at a year or two old so I don't take the hit on depreciation. This is good for me but bad for Saab as I reduce the new number by one (or more). I honestly will try to get a new one the next time but this will ultimately depend on whether I feel the value is really there and also if I have the personal resources to do so.
Let's hope that some Audi owners jump ship because Saab is building a great AWD system on a great car. In order to do so they have to increase the interior quality dramatically because Audis (or others that shall remain unmentioned) have much better interior fit/finish.
Here's hoping that we can all afford a new Saab in the coming years!
