Not fun. The wood stove kept part of the 1st floor warm but the rest of the house was 35-40 degrees.
Having a generator would have saved over $200 worth of food plus $450 for the plumber to replace the frozen pipe and flush the slush out of the heating system. The generator was $600 so I need another semi-disaster to break even. <grin>
