Holy cripes! My friends and I were probably not driving all that brilliantly on some back roads this afternoon (not something I love doing, but I kept up). Hard cornering, hard acceleration, hard braking. I have Akebono Euro Ceramics with Brembo Rotors on the front of my 9-5 Aero, and they went out to lunch VERY early. I was amazed at the brake fade I experienced this afternoon. They were borderline non-existent. I got to my buddy's driveway (sloped) and held my foot on the brake pedal with the normal amount of force and I was rolling backward as if the brakes were off. Weird feeling. Thankfully I noticed they gave up and slowed way down before something bad happened. Once they cooled I did a couple hard stops and they came back to life.
