Diplomatic skills aside, my main concern is her perception that I am speeding "all the time" and she needs to call the cops on me. I will admit there has probably been a couple of occasions where I darted out of here being late or work or whatnot, to say that I never speed through my neighborhood would be a lie. I'm sure she is a PERFECT driver! It almost seems that this woman wants to make an example of me because a lot of people do speed through here. Maybe she sees me as a nonthreatening target where as she doesn't want to engage the guy in the big pickup truck who she perceives is speeding through here.

I just don't want cops showing up at my door every time she "thinks" I'm going to fast. I pretty much came to a complete stop in front of these kids tonight and her reaction was that I didn't do enough. My wife was in the vehicle with me and doesn't remember me doing anything wrong. Exactly how slow must I go to satisfy one person? If the speed limit is 20mph and I'm going 20mph but she "perceives" me as going 30mph who's a fault? Plus I've lived here for 7 years and think they have been here for like 3 years and now all the sudden this is a problem? I've never had any other neighbors tell me I'm going too fast!
