While they have had one disastrous acquisition (rover) they have also had some extremely successful ones (Mini and RR) Mini especially has been a home run. SAAB is kinda the anti BMW.. IMHO with BMW tech they could get sales to about 300K in 4 years or so. I read that GM is not too concerned about the 9-3.. so Yougman can sell that, perhaps they will agree to not sell the 9-5 in China until it can be re-engineered to be GM free (maybe the next model). I either case once Youngman decides to proceed, they will need to hire back all the development folks ASAP but will not have to pay for a stationary production line until they are ready to resume production.
