just like what Saab has been renown for decades. BMW is going all-turbo just like Saab did a decade and half ago. As good as Saab's Triumph-derived H series engine was for its time, after 30+ years, a new clean sheet, especially a sheet from an outstanding motor designer like BMW, would be nice. The last Saab Triumph-derived H series engines were used in the 2.0 in OG9-3 and 2.3 in OG9-5; engines in NG9-3 since 2004, NG9-5 and 9-4x since 2010 are entirely derived from GM, with Saab engineers helping with turbo addition.
