Ford built a huge number of B-24's at Willow Run. GM built a large number of fighters and torpedo bombers.
While in a future conflict, the needed number of wheeled vehicles may (or may not) be large, it would be wildly beyond foolish to throw away a capability that might prove absolutely vital.
Further, given that wheeled vehicles were supplanted by aircraft in earlier conflicts, what magical force is in play that would prevent them from making subassemblies for any number of things, such as hypersonic scramjet waveriders, for example.
The very fact that we don't know what technologies will be nulled in a potential future conflict means we don't know what kinds of things will be needed.
