I haven't driven one but they do look pretty cool--sort of in the vein of my '91 VW Corrado. I think everyone of this board (myself included)has a degree of "prejudice" when it comes to cars, much of it is based on the past, and in the topsy turvey reality of the present day car market, more often then not is just plain not true. With the demise of Saab I think we're all going to at some point have to rethink our car choices when it comes to consumable, every day drivers. The rising cost of gas, the ever increasing technology and complication, the increasing cost and difficulty of maintenance, plus the constant upheaval among the car companies is all going to play a role. One way or another we're all going end up thinking about cars we would never have previously considered. I know it's hard but in some ways it's also kind of fun and liberating. As an example, I hear Alfa is returning to the US, can't say I'd buy one but it would certainly make an interesting possibility. While probably be a Saab of some sort in my garage in the future, the fact is we're living in one of the most interesting eras for cars ever, enjoy it.
