back when the Japanese first started making waves in both the car and motorcycle whelms. People forget that there was a time when "made in Japan" meant "cheap junk" to most people. The Korean brands have changed that image pretty quickly. I don't think they are cutting counters in any particular way, these days their prices aren't really that much cheaper than competing models from other companies. Assuming their quality lives up to the hype in the long run, it's possible that like the Japanese, the day will come when people will be willing to pay extra. I'm still not, but never say never. I sure would have never imagined I would have voluntarily bought a Chrysler product. The world of cars is more diverse and interesting than it's even been in history. If Saab rises from the dead then I'll be there, but if they don't I guess I'll be getting a little "strange."
