Glad to see you started looking for a new place right away.

A loooong time ago my best friend got laid off from a brokerage on a Friday at lunch time.

The rest of the office also got laid off and they all decided to go out for drinks to complain about their former jobs and boss.

My best friend went across the street instead and found himself a job at a different brokerage. He was at work that following Monday while the rest of them lined up at the unemployment office.

And that was one of the major lessons in life my best friend taught me.
